PACT’s experience with such companies as SmithKline Beecham, Johnson and Johnson, Novartis, Sanofi Aventis, Pfizer, Wyeth among other pharmaceutical companys has been rewarding in acquiring the necessary know-how. Treatment processes used cover biological, chemical and membrane separation. Biological processes implemented by PACT cover both aerobic and anaerobic. Aerobic processes were enhanced by utilizing SBR and MSABP versions for higher efficiency and low sludge generation. Membrane separation are utilized successfully for treatment of wastes that are not tolerated by biological processes (toxic content) and those wastes that are oil-based.
